November 7th...On the eve of playing at Capt.Tripp's in Utica,I am fondly remembering a fateful night 1-2yrs ago when our friends The Clones(now the spinns)arrived from NC to rock with us.In tow with them was faithful tech Courtney.Well to make a long story short,she was not happy with the way the club owner treated ol'Bubba,and showed her displeasure by relieving herself on the stage.Well sir,we've been banned ever since.They apparently have forgotten,'cuz we;ll be there tomorrow night with out friends Plan607,One Pound Piece and Lithium Zero.Thanks to Jim at Go,Man Go Prod.for the gig.We hope to be doing more work with him in the future. Thursday August 21st....Welp folks,that bad news just keeps on a comin in the Thunderosa camp.It is official,Foxx E.Soxx has given notice and her last gig with us will be August the 30th@The native Invasion(Bleachers).She is taking a"break of an undetermined amount of time".We are in search of a female replacement for Foxx E..This will be no easy task,as not only does she rip,she also has the stage balls that most men don't have.if you or anyone you know has what it takes,drop me a line bubbagrubbz@hotmail.com.....We will not be doing ANY gigs in September,except for the White Trash Luau in Virginia.We are sorry to see Foxx E. go,but hell,the show must go on! Tuesday July 15th OK kids.Haven't updated in awhile but here's the scoop.Budweiser has OFICIALLY FUCKED US! April 20, 2003 - Happy Easter everyone! Man o' man, the shows just keep pilin' up. The Zeke/Camarosmith show for May 16 has been confirmed. Planet 505 is the place, let's hope they don't double book again. If you haven't heard Zeke yet what the hell are ya waiting for? You can use that there computer to do other things than look at dirty pictures. Download Kazaa off our links page and get yourself some free Zeke! We'll also be opening for The Reverend Horton Heat on May 7 in Ithaca at The Haunt and on May 8 here at home at The Bridge St. Music Hall. Still waiting on Budweiser for some of that contest cash so's we can throw that beer blast we promised ya'll. Bud said they'd throw in some suds too!! Now if we can just find an open weekend. The site has finally been upgraded and the new address is simply Thunderosa.net. Very easy. We got more bandwidth now too so it should be easier to log on. March 25, 2003 - Thanks to everyone who came out to Bridge St. to support us in the Budweiser True Music Band Search. We friggin' won! "Big deal" you say? Actually it's a bigger deal than we thought. Bud has all kinds of cool shit in the works for us. They'll be helping in promotion of our own shows as well as hooking us up with a bunch of shows. They'll be footing the bill when they take us out of town, hooking us up with some personalized clothes and giving us free beer, of course! EMI records is also somehow involved in all of this. It's a nationwide contest, so there's more to go, but it already sounds like it'll be paying off. Not only that, but we are now the K-ROCK house band, which means we get to open a whole bunch of K-ROCK shows, the first being Chevelle at the NYS Fairgrounds at Miller Court on May 17. Whoda thunk it? We got a last minute call to play and decided to do it basically because it was a new venue and now we're gettin' all this free shit! God Bless America!, especially at a time like this. I'd like to remind ya'll to do what you can to support our men and women who are fighting in Iraq to gett rid of that shit-bag Saddam Hussein. If'n ya run across any protesters ya got my permission to kick their ass!

Sunday, February 2, 2003 - I wanna start out by saying thanks again to the badasses in Superthrive. Once again, we kept them up all night, drank up their booze and sacked out on their furniture, only to leave them sitting there in a cloud of smoke wondering what the hell happened. You guys are THE BEST! and we really appreciate everything you've done for us and we owe ya bigtime. WE GOT AN AMBULANCE!! Bubba sacraficed his low-profile Ford Taurus wagon for a friggin' ambulance! Oh man, ya gotta see it. It's so cool and really built to haul our asses to your town, so give us a buzz if ya need someone to come out and rock, we'd be glad to help you out. Congratulations to Found Dead Hanging. They put on a great show last night to win the Molson Band Search at Bridge St. Won like a thousand bucks they did. Way to go. And they don't even drink beer. Thanks to everyone who came out to see us at The Continental, especially those of you that came from Syracuse and surprised us. That was way cool. Jesus Christ, I feel like I'm accepting an academy award with all these thank-you's, and there is one more. Thank You to Heidi and Sal for all of your time and help. Thursday, January 16, 2003 - Hey, this is a nice shade of green! Kinda like them old Mopar hotrods from the late 60's and early 70's. Hope ya'll had a good holiday season. Old man winter's been kickin' our ass here in upstate NY. Supposed to be the coldest night so far tomorrow, somewhere around zero. Man I hate this shit!! So...what the hells up with Thunderosa anyhow? Not a whole lot I guess. We recorded "Diamond Dolls" a few weeks ago. As soon as we decide on a mix we can all live with I'll replace Jon Force with it for the audio on this page. It was sort of a quickie, but it came out pretty good. We'll definitely record it again when we cut our next CD. I've got a bit of sad news to report. The Stag Hotel has been sold!! Reportedly one of the local meat-market meat-head jock bars bought the place, so it's doubtful that anything good will be happening there any time soon. I guess it was only a matter of time. It was just sitting there quietly waiting for some asshole to buy it and turn it into yet another downtown pick-up joint. Well, I hope Dick got some good money for the place. Thanks for the memories, as cloudy as they may be! Ummm... well, I guess that's about it for now. As usual, we gots plenty of shows in the works, and I'll be postin' em as they get confirmed. March 25, 2003 - Thanks to everyone who came out to Bridge St. to support us in the Budweiser True Music Band Search. We friggin' won! "Big deal" you say? Actually it's a bigger deal than we thought. Bud has all kinds of cool shit in the works for us. They'll be helping in promotion of our own shows as well as hooking us up with a bunch of shows. They'll be footing the bill when they take us out of town, hooking us up with some personalized clothes and giving us free beer, of course! EMI records is also somehow involved in all of this. It's a nationwide contest, so there's more to go, but it already sounds like it'll be paying off. Not only that, but we are now the K-ROCK house band, which means we get to open a whole bunch of K-ROCK shows, the first being Chevelle at the NYS Fairgrounds at Miller Court on May 17. Whoda thunk it? We got a last minute call to play and decided to do it basically because it was a new venue and now we're gettin' all this free shit! Once again, we kept them up all night, drank up their booze and sacked out on their furniture, only to leave them sitting there in a cloud of smoke wondering what the hell happened. You guys are THE BEST! and we really appreciate everything you've done for us and we owe ya bigtime. WE GOT AN AMBULANCE!! Bubba sacraficed his low-profile Ford Taurus wagon for a friggin' ambulance! Oh man, ya gotta see it. It's so cool and really built to haul our asses to your town, so give us a buzz if ya need someone to come out and rock, we'd be glad to help you out. Old man winter's been kickin' our ass here in upstate NY. Supposed to be the coldest night so far tomorrow, somewhere around zero. Man I hate this shit!! So...what the hells up with Thunderosa anyhow? Not a whole lot I guess. We recorded "Diamond Dolls" a few weeks ago. As soon as we decide on a mix we can all live with I'll replace Jon Force with it for the audio on this page. It was sort of a quickie, but it came out pretty good. We'll definitely record it again when we cut our next CD. I've got a bit of sad news to report. The Stag Hotel has been sold!! Reportedly one of the local meat-market meat-head jock bars bought the place, so it's doubtful that anything good will be happening there any time soon. I guess it was only a matter of time. It was just sitting there quietly waiting for some asshole to buy it and turn it into yet another downtown pick-up joint. Well, I hope Dick got some good money for the place.
